Even though interest rates are currently low, Buyers will need to show proof that their job and income was OK during the pandemic, they will need 20% down payment (no more buying with only 5% down payment), and lenders/Banks are doing double/triple checks of the application in order to qualify a Buyer. In addition, Banks need assurance that the loan applicant’s future employment is stable in this current COVID situation where there is rapid change in how society is functioning and how individuals are living their daily lives (work, school, shopping, etc.. have dramatically changed).
